Pakistan is one of the first countries which inducted F16 and after that a lot of countries followed it. Pakistan air force experts are fully professional who never compromise on efficiency, quality and capability, and that is the reason that so many countries are considering J10 C after induction in PAF because they know that Pakistani professionals are thoroughly doing there home work.

F16s latest blocks(70-72) have more range n payload capacity than J10Cs but other than this aspect J10C is an excellent 4+gen multirole fighter aircraft especially for air to air roles. What Indians say was largely right till 5 years ago but not any more. Chinese have made massive progress in Military Aviation technologies in the last decade in particular !!

In my opinion PAF should maintain about 5-7 squadrons of J10. Pakistan should emphasize on production line shift if it plans to maintains J10 in larger numbers along with F16.

Bro it was clearly mentioned in the video as well that soon Pakistan will need to retire its Mirages and Jaguars. At that time Pakistan would have been facing depletion of squadrons, that could have been dangerous and not too good for PAF. So PAF already had that in mind, that's why they are getting additional J-10Cs.

And remember PAF needs to overpower India, to counter India for any possible war or war like scenario because Pakistan does not have the same quantity of soldiers as India has. So we require more modern and stronger Airforce, to balance that quantity with our air superiority. Also numbers are not clearly mentioned in Public because Public does not require such classified information. For many safety reasons, many things are kept hidden from general public.
